In memory of

Andy Hallett

 

On March 29, 2009, Andy Hallett died of heart failure.  He was only 33.

The Slay-A-Thon family will remember Andy in 2 ways at our 2009 event.

  1. Our first Wish Kid suffers from heart disease; Andy passed away after a five year battle with heart disease.
     
  2. We're viewing an Angel episode that highlights Andy's tremendous talent ("There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb").

Kelly and I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Andy at the 2005 Chicago Wizard World.  He was signing at the Time & Space Toys booth and we were volunteering for the weekend.  We got to spend 2 days with Andy, and we will never forget our time with him.  Sweet, funny, talented, and kind.

He will be missed...
