FAQs - Venue

"I can not stress enough how much I don't have plans."
-- Xander --

But we do.

Where is the Slay-A-Thon?

We will be in the Show Room at Dave & Buster's - Goldcoast in Downtown Chicago. The address is 1030 N. Clark Street (Clark at Oak). Phone is (312) 943-5151. Directions are available from the Dave & Buster's Web site.

When is the Slay-A-Thon?

The 2010 Slay-A-Thon is on Saturday, June 19, 2010. It begins at 11:30 AM and ends at midnight. You are not required to attend the entire event. Stay for the day or stop by for your favorite episodes.

Is there anything to eat at the Slay-A-Thon?

Dave & Buster's offers a wide variety of menu choices. You will need to pay for all food and beverages yourselves. Wait staff and a bartender will be in the room to assist. Just don't try to stake them!

Where am I supposed to park?

Dave & Buster's validates parking for guests at a rate of $7.00 for up to 10 hours at the parking garage across the street or the parking garage next door to Dave & Buster's. Cash only!

If you plan to be at the Slay-A-Thon for 10 hours or more, we recommend that you park on the street and move you car into the garage later.

Are there age restrictions for the Slay-A-Thon?

Yup! We need to honor Dave & Buster's policies. Here they are...

  • Guests under the age of 21 (legal drinking age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (a person 25 years of age or older who agrees to be responsible for the conduct and safety of the underage guests).
  • One parent or guardian can accompany up to a maximum of four underage guests.
  • Underage guests must remain with their parent or guardian. The other guests appreciate this and D&B's insurance carrier requires it.
